At today's special conference at the ExCel centre in the Royal Docks, the Labour Party voted to accept the recommendations of the Collins Report (overwhelmingly by 86% to 14%).

It was a good natured morning with lots of humour and a little discord but that's why we are the Labour Party! The best speech was by Ian McCartney but there was lots of others as thoughtful but not so powerfully delivered.

There must have been over two thousand delegates which was most encouraging.
