Eli Parisers' The Filter Bubble 24.06.11

24 Jun 2011
The RSA has run a series of lunch time lectures with authors of books, usually American, about the Internet. Yesterday it was Eli Paliser's turn to talk about his book The Filter Bubble which had already been trailed  in the Sundays.

It was a good talk well illustrated and full of information about how google and Facebook manipulate their data and then push it back at us without our fully understanding what is going on. It's wrong and should be stopped.

I asked him where the citizen could take their redress and answer came none.

That is why we need a world Internet Policy Institute.
