Welcome to my new website

Many of us over 60 are counted out when part-time jobs come up despite our collective wisdom and abilities.

To counter some of this prejudice I have dispensed with sending my CV and have instead created The Complete Picture, an animated ninety second overview of my life to date @ https://vimeo.com/223960456.

Confusion at the heart of the UK Government on Social Networks 27.08.11

The Tory Government doesn't know what to do with the internet.

At the eG8 in Paris and Deauville, the PM stopped progress on President Sarkozy's ideas for a World Body to start to think about how the internet could be marshalled.

During the London riots three weeks ago, the pM called for some kind of control of social network sites.

This week, Theresa May, the Home Secretary, having called in all of the social network companies, then dropped any pretensions to turn them off in a national crisis. What one earth would the security forces do without them?

We cannot go on closing our minds to a charter for ISPs.
