I went to hear Julia's lecture on social networking at the Cass Business school on Wednesday.
She spoke about five elements of networking:
Weak Ties
Loose Knowledge
Global Green Room
Marzipan Management
&
Curious Company
I thought at the end of a very entertaining lecture she might link them with an overarching theme but I was disappointed. I'm not sure there is an exact science (Tipping Point v Nudge et al) to networking but it is something I do rather too much of.............I like the intellectual challenge.
