Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia, @ London House

You are here: Home / Blog / Digital and New Media / Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia, @ London House
Jimmy Wales was the guest speaker yesterday afternoon at London House (City Hall) and I was one of eight additional guest support acts.

Jimmy talked about Wikipedia which now has 490 million users a month, his failures in the tech space before he stumbled on a free, crowd sourced online encyclopedia and his for profit company:

** Failure can be a positive
** Being an entrepreneur is a force for good
** New tech developments will cause upheaval
** Innovation prospers where there is also prosperity and political freedoms
