Welcome to my new website

Many of us over 60 are counted out when part-time jobs come up despite our collective wisdom and abilities.

To counter some of this prejudice I have dispensed with sending my CV and have instead created The Complete Picture, an animated ninety second overview of my life to date @ https://vimeo.com/223960456.

On Sunday I joined a couple of thousand Canadian citizens celebrating their national day in Trafalgar Square. On 1st July 1867, Canada became an independent country though as per usual we Brits kept hold of some powers which were gradually relinquished......

My mother was born in Ottawa and raised in Vancouver and my (late) brother and sister took Canadian citizenship when they moved to British Columbia in 1967 and 1972 respectively.

Since 1979, I have visited Vancouver (x8), Nanaimo (x8), Ottawa (1), Toronto (3), Waterloo (2) and Montreal (1).
