I attended a Celebrating an Amazing Year for Women's Sport at Mischon de Reya's offices last night which had been organised by the Women's Sports & Fitness Foundation (which I founded in 1984).
Sue Tibballs chaired an excellent evening which included speeches from Tessa Jowell MP, Barbara Slater Head of BBC Sport), Deborah Hale MBE (Baton Relay) and Sophie Hosking MBE (Gold in the Sculls). They were outstanding and seeing some of the OLympic excerpts again brought tears to my eyes.
A brilliant evening all round.
