I went to the Athletics last night to see five finals:
** Women's shot, pole vault and steeplechase
** Men's 400m hurdles and 400m
The gold medal winners were:
** Our volunteers - always cheerful and so helpful
** The spectators whose knowledge of the sport is the best in the world
The disappointment for me was the design of the stadium and the poor sight levels.
I simply cannot see how or why any soccer team would want to move here without an agreement that the track has to be moved out.
