The BBC and C4 have shown the way into how to cover major events with their exceptional coverage of the Olympics and Paralympics.

The IOC has not. Its attitude to their intellectual property rights is archaic and tells us that as an organisation they are still thinking "analogue". 

The world has gone mobile and the BBC has shown how you reach new audiences on the tablet and mobile as well as on digital television channels. This was a first for the world.
