I paid my second visit to The Valley on Friday night to see them lose 0-1 to Crystal Palace. We had a goal disallowed for offside which on the replays looked fine. When will soccer introduce technology so aid referees?

But actually, Palace deserved their win and after five games we have won one and drawn two and look to be struggling in every department except in goal and at striker. But we played the ball sideways and backwards as though no-one knew where the penalty area was. On this evidence we shall do well just to stay up.
