Welcome to my new website

Many of us over 60 are counted out when part-time jobs come up despite our collective wisdom and abilities.

To counter some of this prejudice I have dispensed with sending my CV and have instead created The Complete Picture, an animated ninety second overview of my life to date @ https://vimeo.com/223960456.

Chris Anderson's The Long Tail was a pivotal account of Web 2.0. Free, his second book, was not so widely acclaimed but nevertheless was an absorbing sideways look at how the 3for2 and 2for1 and "free" culture has insidiously become a part of our daily lives.

His third book is entitled Makers: The New Industrial Revolution and is part folksy, part analysis of how in the new, new world we shall revert to making things thanks to 3D imaging and printing. So not quite Web 3.0 but an arresting read.

He will be speaking at an Intelligence Squared event on Wednesday at the Royal Institution.
